Liberty…. Is it only for male????

What is liberty? According to Oxford dictionary,” the state of being free within society from oppressive restrictions imposed by authority on one’s way of life, behavior, or political views.” Or simply it is the freedom to live your life in your own way without any restrictions.

Everyone in the society wants liberty but why is it so? Why is it so important to them? Liberty grants freedom to choose anything you want, like in a political field or in music field or any film industries anywhere. People can attain a quality of life easily and decide their future by themselves  and don’t need to depend upon others. Every people are unique in their own way and they have equal right to live their life on their own way. This is why liberty is important.

But is it only for male? Our society is always dominated by male from ancient civilization. During that period women are treated only to give birth and do household work thinking them as birth giving machine. But even today  in many countries’ women are dominated, usually in Asian countries.

Even in this century women are still dominated. If a child is born in the house then parents become happier on a male child than female. Even a mother doesn’t want to have a girl so that she shouldn’t face the difficulties she had faced. This is how dominance start. We can find lots of place where women are not sent to schools though her brother is  being send even if she is sent to school, she sends to worst low-level school compared her brother. After her school studies she is married to someone who is matured than her. After that, her life goes on household world and giving birth. In the tribal community when a girl is born then she is believed as sin. This is how liberty works in villages.

Now lets say about city, how she is dominated? As in city there is difference, here women are allowed to study further, how much she can. And even she can marry when she wants. But here their liberty is taken in different way. If a girl wears a short dress, she goes to party, hangouts with her friends then she is count as slut. Girls are taught how to sit in front of people. They are not allowed to sit freely in front of anyone. A breastfeeding i.e. a natural process, if a woman is seen breastfeeding her child in public then people sees her as she is exposing her breast. More than that women are even not allowed to buy sanitary pads in public. In every activities women are not granted liberty. But if a boy hangout with his friends, goes club then he is a cool guy. And they are allowed to sit freely in front of anyone. They are never treated in negative way. Though liberty is for every people but also there are lots of women who are still facing this.
